A MARRIAGE PROPOSAL

MarGi Happenings presents A Marriage Proposal, a one-act farse by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov, which premiered in St. Petersburg on April 12, 1889, and features a hypochondriacal landowner, full of tics and mania, who asks for his neighbor´s hand in marriage. During the proposal, the three characters get into a disagreement which ignites a caustic debate, one that sends tempers flaring. The proposal turns into a constant fight, but at the climax of one of the arguments, the wedding is finally arranged. CAST: Julio Rodríguez, Andy Barbosa and Geraldine Townson
